APO Technologies presents an electronic prosthetic alignment platform to provide improved documentation and minimize audit risk for prosthetists, increasing both revenue for providers and the standard of care for patients.

The platform consists of a calibration device and software suite to objectively measure and share data for prosthetic alignments.

  • 1.75 million patients have a lower limb prosthetic, with approximately 400,000 new prosthesis fittings/year

  • No standard exists for measuring & documenting proper prosthetic alignments, creating risk for recovery audits 

  • Improper alignments also result in falls, tissue breakdown, and increased clinical visits for patients

Goeran is an assistant professor for the Master of Science in Prostehics and Orthotics program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation services. He holds graduate degrees in Clinical Engineering / Biomechanics from the University of Applied Sciences Giessen and in Health Sciences from the UW-Milwaukee

Esteban holds degrees in Bioengineering and Rehabilitation Science from UCLA and the University of Pittsburgh.  Since 2006 Esteban has been on a mission to improve the lives of people who use prosthetic limbs through the use of cutting edge technology.
